Simon(e)’s Tribute to Aérea Negrot at Gropius Bau

As many of you may know, the passing of the unique Aérea Negrot has brought an immeasurable loss this year.

Her absence has left a lasting imprint on her whole community.

In her honor, Simon(e) will present the performance 'ManiFiesta!' within the frame of the exhibition 'General Idea'.

Created together with Aérea in 2019, 'ManiFiesta!' is getting a revival as a testimony and ritual to recognize the enduring impact of her voice in Simon(e)’s life and work.

Wie viele von euch wissen, hat der Verlust der einzigartigen Aérea Negrot in diesem Jahr einen unermesslichen Verlust gebracht.

Ihre Abwesenheit wird einen unauslöschlichen Eindruck in unserer gesamten Gemeinschaft hinterlassen.

Zu ihren Ehren wird Simon(e) die Performance ManiFiesta! im Rahmen der Ausstellung General Idea präsentieren.

Zusammen mit Aérea im Jahr 2019 geschaffen, wird 'ManiFiesta!' neu aufgeführt als Zeugnis und Ritual, um die anhaltende Wirkung ihrer Stimme auf das Leben und Werk von Simon(e) zu würdigen.

Como muchos de ustedes sabrán, el fallecimiento de la única Aérea Negrot ha dejado una pérdida inconmensurable este año.

Su ausencia ha dejado una huella imborrable en toda nuestra comunidad.
